WHO WE ARE
The JBRSWA/JB Green Team is a two County Government Agency responsible for implementing the a solid waste management plan designed to achieve the goals set by the Ohio EPA for waste reduction, recycling and reducing reliance on land filling waste generated within the two counties. For many years we have received the majority of our funding through tipping fees generated by landfills and transfer stations in the district. However, in 2014 the amount of fees the JBRSWA/JB Green Team revenues were greatly reduced forcing the Authority to implement another funding source. Fees and tax revenues are used to provide programs and services for our residents, businesses and industries.

OUR BOARD MEMBERS
The JBRSWA Board of Trustees is comprised of fifteen members from both Jefferson and Belmont counties. The Board oversees the operation of the Authority and is responsible for implementing the programs. The Board meets on the second Monday of each month to approve financial statements and to discuss and act on matters related to the operation of the District. As with all public meetings, the Board meetings are open to the public. The date/location of the next meeting can be found below or you may contact our office for the next scheduled date. Our Board holds monthly Meetings alternating between the two Counties which are open to the public.
Our regular Board meeting are usually the 2nd Monday of each Month (except on Legal Holidays), at 5:30 PM. Scheduled meeting dates & locations can be found on "Meeting and Minutes" Page under the Resources tab from our MENU.
All meetings are subject to change, you may contact one of our offices to confirm on the day of the meeting.

BELMONT PROGRAM COORDINATOR POSITION
The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Wast Authority Board AKA JB Green Team is seeking to fill a full-time salaried position for $28.50 per hour with benefits and retirement for the Program Coordinator of the Belmont Office. The Coordinator will be responsible for the Belmont phases of operations and should posses strong oral and written communication skills as well as administrative experience. Qualified candidates must be proficient on a personal computer, office/cell phones, fax/copy/scanner machines, calculator, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media/Facebook, scheduling, basic accounting, public relations, local geographical area knowledge, develop and maintain effective working relationships, travel to and gain access to work sites, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or other related discipline. Government administration or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in management, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
The Belmont Program Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the Belmont staff and equipment and reports to the Executive Director of the Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority. Responsibilities include working with communities in establishing and maintaining drop-off recycling for residents, waste audits for industrial and commercial businesses, annual on-site visitation to all recycling activities, prepare and submit reports as required, overseeing Belmont staff and daily interworking schedules, logistics, material flow and communication between the various multifunctional operations, answering calls/emails/messages from the public, plan special community events, Public Employee Risk Reduction Program, news releases, grants, brochures, and other related documentation. Performs ALL other duties as directed by the Executive Director, solve problems, and collect data.

Belmont County Education Coordinator/Secretary Position
Job Applications are now being accepted for full time position as the Education Coordinator/Secretary position at our Belmont location at 67895 Pickering Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio. $22.31 per hour. Duties consist of but not limited to working with the public, local schools and students, answering office calls/questions, social media, presentations to students/adult organizations, special event activities, setup and tear down of event display booths, meeting minutes, office duties, maintaining files and data, and assisting the Belmont Program Coordinator and Executive Director as needed. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, zoom meetings, and Facebook/social media is a must. Environmental background/knowledge is a plus. Must have a willingness to learn. Normal Work hours: Monday – Friday, 7AM-3PM, with some evenings/weekends. Retirement, Benefit package, Holidays off. High School Diploma/GED, drivers license with clean record, passing drug test and background check required upon hiring.

CDL TRUCK DRIVER POSITION
We are currently taking applications for (Class A or B) CDL Driver/Community Service Supervisor.
For Full Time position at $23.22 per hour with benefits and retirement plan. Two weeks vacation after one year. Must pass background check, and Drug screening prior to hire, and random pool during employment. Must pass and hold DOT physical. Must be able to do manual labor, heavy lifting up to 70 pounds, walk long distance, prolong standing, and drive an 8-hour route. Must be able to work well with others and be courteous to the public, supervise Community Court Service workers/Work release workers and manage crew schedule and paperwork.
Driver will be based at Jefferson Office location and required to drive routes in both Jefferson & Belmont County. Basic computer skills a plus. Job duties include but are not limited to recycling site cleanups and roadside litter cleanups with or without a crew, front loading packer, rear load packer, dump trailer towing, operate equipment such as articulating loader, compactor, hand cleanup of bin collection sites as needed, daily paperwork, and all other work as directed by Executive Director. 3-5 years driving experience preferred. Clean MVR required.
Normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday 7AM-3PM, with some weekends/Holidays.
